What are the differences in cost between natural stone thin veneer and man-made stone?

In many instances, there is not a cost difference in manufactured stone and natural stone thin veneer. In cases where natural stone thin veneer costs are higher than manufactured stone, it is generally not enough make someone select manufactured stone over natural stone thin veneer.
